A collective #
As of October 2026, Hagrou comprises 11 adults and 6 children. The group, initially made up of friends of friends, has gradually evolved through departures and expansions via various “recruitment” phases.
In addition to meetings related to the structuring of the project, the group meets at spontaneous gatherings or organized events hosted by the “Câfête” group—a combination of câlin (hug) and fête (party)—whose mandate is to ensure the cohesion of the group and the well-being of its members. A group weekend is organized once a year during the prospective phase of the project (location not secured).

I’m Tiago’s foster mum, in love with Florent, and a French teacher; I love spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy reading, going to concerts, watching films and plays, going for walks, cycling, soaking up the sun, strolling around Brussels, and discovering a new beer or a new park (this list isn’t exhaustive).

A cheerful thirty-something, I love making my friends and family laugh.
A weekend sports enthusiast who enjoys both getting away from it all and literary exploration, I love spending time with people over a beer in a pub.

Settled comfortably on my yellow sofa, I’m waiting for a fascinating fun fact about myself to surface in my mind. A gentle breeze caresses my cheek. My eyelids feel heavy and the soft purr of engines below lulls me. My eyes are closing… Come on, just a few minutes…

After two years in Brussels, where I joined Hagrou, I’ve been in Montpellier since mid-2026, where I continue to be part of the adventure remotely. I enjoy cultural outings, board games, travelling by train to visit my friends, I do dance classes and my goal this year is to keep my plants alive!

I’ve been trying to set up a co-housing scheme for 10 years now; we’re almost there – as an architect, I’ll finally be able to design the project of my dreams! Which will definitely include a dance floor!

It was a series of happy coincidences that brought me to Belgium and then into this group, and I’m delighted to be building these relationships with my future neighbours. I’m fascinated by everything to do with games and group dynamics. I win and lose arguments – not particularly important ones, mind you – but I do so with conviction when it comes to the names of the working groups within Hagrou.
